The members of AIM ARC would like to welcome new members to the club .

**We can give you the means to talk,

and you can have the world to talk to.

** A license is needed to transmit on the amateur bands, which is what we at the club will help you gain through tuition.

Ashton in Makerfield Amateur Radio Club was set up by Peter M0RGN and Elaine M6CLB (SK) with a view to introducing new people into amateur radio and welcoming those that are already part of the international hobby.

Training and examinations are catered for, and we can accommodate 12 candidates sitting exams at any one time, so, if you are curious and want more information on how to become apart of a global hobby, then please come down and see us to find out first hand how it all works.

Meetings are held every Monday from 19:00 to 21:30 approx.

Some nights will be changed to the Wednesday of the same week.

Info will be placed here for future reference.

Due to ongoing clubhouse refurbishments

the Radio Club will be closed until further notice.
